In the light of the recent civil unrest in Hout Bay, as well as the devastating Imizamo Yethu and Knysna fires, the HBNW Operations team, including members from HBNW, CCP and CPF Valley, have met to discuss measures to be adopted during these situations.
In the light of the recent civil unrest in Hout Bay, as well as the devastating Imizamo Yethu and Knysna fires, the HBNW Operations team, including members from HBNW, CCP and CPF Valley, have met to discuss measures to be adopted during these situations.
It was agreed that residents must quickly become better informed as to how to prepare for and manage themselves in a disaster situation or civil unrest situation.
HBNW as the organisation that manages the Hout Bay and Llandudno ICSP (Integrated Community Safety Plan) advises all residents to download, read and familiarise themselves with these documents.
